Brandon Police Service
The Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the overall controls of the financial management and planning activities of the Brandon Police Service. This position involves a high degree of business interaction and customer contact as well as the need to continually improve the quality of the financial reporting to enhance business insights and make value-adding business decisions.
•Grade 12, G.E.D. , or Mature High School Diploma (Mandatory);
•Graduate from a recognized post-secondary institution with an accounting specialization (Mandatory).
•Two (2) years’ experience working in a professional accounting setting, or similar position in the accounting/financial management field (Mandatory);
•Municipal accounting experience (Preferred);
•Current enrolment in a CGA, CMA or CA program is considered an asset.

Rate of Pay: $69,919 – 75,439 annually - 2017 rates (Pay Grade 3).
Position Conditions: This is a full-time, permanent position of 40 hours per week.
