ACC is looking for instructors to teach Biology and Physics in the evening program at the ACC Adult Collegiate at 725 Rosser Avenue, Brandon. The programming at the ACC Adult Collegiate is designed to offer adult students the opportunity to attain their Mature Student High School Diploma or upgrade their skills for further education or employment in day and evening classes. Evening programs are offered every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 pm.
ACC Adult Collegiate provides a supportive yet challenging learning environment for a diverse group of adult students. Curriculum development, classroom management, student evaluation, academic advising and related administrative duties will be ongoing responsibilities.
You will take initiative, providing students with relevant experience and background in: Biology 40S and Physics 30S and 40S. Previous experience in teaching adult learners would be an asset.
You will possess a Bachelor of Education degree, a Manitoba Teaching Certificate and have several years of experience in a variety of educational settings. Your strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills will support your enthusiasm to instruct Biology and Physics.
